seniors information & referral Program
This free service provides trained volunteer Information & Referral Counsellors to help seniors find the assistance and resources they need, either by phone or in person (by appointment). This program is offered in collaboration with Vancouver Coastal Health/Richmond Health Services and in partnership with the City of Richmond, Senior Services.
Volunteers offer a wide variety of information on topics of concern to seniors including: housing, government pensions, BC Medical Plan, Fair PharmaCare, Shelter Aid for Elderly Renters, and much more. As well, volunteers can help clients complete government forms and/or access and print them.
This service is available to adults who are 55 years of age and older, Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm. A referral is not required.
