This series is an approved course equivalent to Working with Volunteers, one of the six core courses toward the Volunteer Management Certificate Program offered by Red River College (this certificate program is available via distance delivery with some classroom delivery).
Series Description:
Join us and learn how to set up and manage an effective volunteer program from experienced practitioners in the field of volunteer administration. The series includes six modules which cover all aspects of the volunteer management cycle including: planning, recruitment, interviewing & screening, orientation & training, supervision, evaluation, motivation, recognition, communications and staff/ volunteer relations. Participants will be given tools, techniques, templates and ideas they can apply right away.
A certificate of completion is provided.
Who should attend:
This is an introductory-level course ideal for people (including volunteer leaders) new to the field, professionals without prior training, and anyone considering a career in the administration of volunteer resources.
