how can i help?
The success of the Richmond Christmas Fund depends on our community's ability to raise donations. Cash donations are used primarily to purchase grocery vouchers.
You can make a donation by mail to: Richmond Christmas Fund, 190 – 7000 Minoru Blvd., Richmond, BC V6Y 3Z5. Please make sure your name and address are included on the cheque so we can send you a tax receipt. Our charitable registration number is 11911 9055 RR0001.
You can also give online using our secure Richmond Christmas Fund donation page. Once your donation is received, you'll be issued an electronic tax receipt via e-mail.
Donate New Toys, Games and Books
Drop off new, unwrapped gifts at Volunteer Richmond (190 - 7000 Minoru Blvd.) Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, or drop them off at Richmond Centre's Santa Display during mall hours. Please be advised that due to health reasons, we are no longer accepting donations of stuffed animals. We encourage you to give books instead of bears and toys instead of teddies!
Sponsor a family. Individuals and groups can put together a custom holiday hamper and deliver it personally to a selected family. Call us at 604-279-7035 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Information about volunteering with the 2014 Christmas Fund will be available here in September 2014.
Volunteers are the heart of the Richmond Christmas Fund. None of the help we provide to low-income families would be possible without the generous gift of time from our volunteers. For more information on Christmas Fund volunteering and how to apply, click on a volunteer position below. Training will take place from mid-October to late November. The last day to apply for a Christmas Fund volunteering position is November 8, 2013.
You can support the many community events and activities which benefit the Richmond Christmas Fund.
